Default 05 Fatboy - Convert to Hard Bags or Not

As you can see below I have a 2005 Anniversary Fatboy with a bunch ofadditions added and I am thinking about adding some Ness taildraggers to both front and back and adding Hardbags along with some other changes - Everyone so far I talked to thinks its a bad idea that I should trade up and go with a Street Glide - Need some opions on adding the bags..

People are good at telling one what not to do or what they would do.
If we all listened bikes would all be the same.
If you don't want a big wind catching fairing and you like your fatboy bags can be addapted.
J&P has a kit in threr catalog to adapt hard bags.
Here is a link to cycle visions thet make a kit also.

Your scoot looks great and since you like it just add the bags. I modified the brackets and now can go with about any bag I like. Also you have the option to take them off anytime so I'd go the direction of adding the bags!!!
