I need some help. I have a custom pre 99 softail. I just noticed that the front part of the primary is rubbing on the frame (left side), and probably has done so for a while. The only logical solution to me is to shim the engine up on the front mountby 1/8 of an inch. Not sure if this is kosher, or whether the other mounts need to be adjusted. Can anyone tell me if there are any other solutions? It is a dry belt primary. Thanks!
