Rear Seat for the XBONES Issue..
I'm really having a tuff time finding a rear seat that would be comfortable for the wife. The stock Pillion looks good... but not good for long rides. Wife likes to go on rides with me foran average of 200+ per trip, I changed out the Spring Solo to a bigSofttail combo but it rode like crap for me and killed the whole look of the bike. Were not in our 20's any more when we could ride a hardtail all day long...UGHH..The good Ol'e days.
The only thing that I can come up with is to get a pan and make a rear seat for her. I refuse to remove the Solo seat as itflows very well with the bike and I'm6' so it is very comfortable. Any advice would help or links to arear seat that is about 11" to 12" wide and cushy as she would say.But it has to flow with the bike and match up with the Solo. Thanks!!!!!

RE: Rear Seat for the XBONES Issue..
OK... After alot of looking around I think I have the perfect rear set for the wiffey [8D]
It is at my friends right now getting a little mod work so I can bolt it to the fender. It actually looks pretty good on the bike. After I get my new 16" Apes and some other work I submit the Pics.

Here is some more information on the cover.

It looks like it will get in the way of the bags and you would surley have to put it somewhere when you stopped and went somewhere. Someone elses LIL Honey might like to knab it. So that is why I opted to do the seat.

RE: Rear Seat for the XBONES Issue..
Just lays over the pillion. it is adjustable, did not hit my saddle bags on my Sporty. I have not tried it on my Crossbones, but the Crossbones seat is wider then the Sporty's so the cover should not hang down as far. As far as the price, Dennis Kirk has the studded one for about $110 and the plain one was $90.
