Rocker C with V & H BR Any decel popping?
I took my Rocker up to the dealership on Saturday. He put it on the dyno and did a little tuning, but not much. He stated the gurgle and decel pop will most likely stay due to the length of the pipes. It did spit out about 75HP and about 84 ft. lbs. of torque with these pipes and the SE high flow. He only charged me for a dyno run, and not a dyno tune.
My question to you other folks who have this combination, Do you still get lots of decel popping and gurgle, especially going from first to second to third? I can still take it in and get it dynoed once I reach 1,000 miles. The tech said the map looked great and he did make some slight adjustments. I just need to know if y'all are getting this and is it a characteristic of these pipes, or do I need to try a tune once it has 1,000 miles.
Thanks.
Oh, BTW, I took off the reflectors tonight. Looks much better.

Yup,
Mine pops on decel and during clutch engagement between shifts at lower speeds. And to be honest with you....I kinda dig it.
When my tuner had my GTO on the dyno, I actually had him leave the deceleration fule cut off setting turned off, cuz I like the sound when I lift off the throttle really quick, or coast at high speed in lower gears. It makes it sound mean.
