Big Bore Conversion Twin Cam B
Question for those that have upgraded from 88 to 95 (or from 96 to 103)
Any change in cruising speed vibration? I'm wondering if they have changed those counter balancers to compinsate for the larger pistons and longer stroke for the 96" models.
I'm considering the 95" kit for my 2000. I would just like some input as far as any down side, like vibration. I would probably also change to geardrive cams. And a Mikuni 42.
I appreciate any input.

RE: Big Bore Conversion Twin Cam B
The SE kits specifically state that no re-balancing is required so that would indicate to me that there would not be additional vibration. Some of the aftermarket kits like HQ, etc (might) run into some vibration but if they are kit setups they most likely have been tested as well.
I think where you might run into issues is if you were to go with an a-la-carte build where you picked your own combination of pieces parts to do your build. Some combinations could create different harmonic freqs at specific or ranges of RPM's that could create noise and/or vibration. It's really hard to say though. You really won't know 100% for sure unless you build it.
