Other than the fact that IMO true duals just look good on the Deluxe are there any advantages to going from the shotgun style to true duals?

I like the Vance and Hines ones are there other options out there?

It all depends on what you want to do with your bike. I couldn't put my axle nut covers on if I had the stock exhust, but they fit like a champ with the duals.

 

1.If you have a passenger, her boot doesn't get all over the stock upper exhaust pipe, which, on a Deluxe, is above the peg or footboard.
2. They look about 100% better
3. They sound good
4. They keep your left thigh warm in stop and go traffic when it's cold out.
5. Did I say they look like they should have been on the bike stock?
6. There is a weight savings as you remove about a 20 lb stock exhaust bracket and the right stock bag lower support bracket.

 

I heard the 2 into ones have better torque so i would guess that true duals have better HP.

 

you get the exhaust notes in stereo....I have TCC true duals on my Springer and love them but I doubt there is any power advantages..in fact I heard the opposite?
