Default Baffles out

I took my baffles out of my longshots. Do I need to get it checked out like you do when you change pipes?

Default RE: Baffles out

What is theODof your pipes? Mine are drag pipes, that don't come with baffles. They alsohave power/torque cones, added inside, at the header end.My pipesare 1 3/4" OD and 1 5/8 ID.
If your pipes are bigger in diameter then that, the bike will not run very good without baffles, period.
In the exhaust section there is a sticky note explaining how to make and install lollipops. For just a few bucks you can make and install a set. Another thing you can do, before then, is put a bolt in the hole, that your baffles used. Getbolts that will go completely across the inside diameter of your pipes.
You can also order some Thunder baffles, that are just lollipops and pipe reducers. They will help in getting back some of theback pressure you lost, when you removed your baffles.
