Default Crossbone pillion and fender paint

I am putting the passenger pillion on my Crossbones but am afraid of scuffing the paint. Earlier this month someone posted a website offering a protective film. Anybody know the web address, I can't find the post.

Contact Mike at:mike@pro-finish.comand the website is: www.pro-finish.com/hawgarmor.html. He send me a 9 x 12 piece for my XBones rear fender for $29 plus shipping. Also watch the instructions atwww.pro-finish.com/diyinstructions.htmlor you will screw up badly. WalMart auto center also has "Scotchgard Paint Protection Film" which is the same 3M stuff and comes with 2 -6 x 12 in sheets and a squeegee for $15. In the interim, I put 2 small strips of adhesive on one side felt on the high points of the seat to protect the paint. Jerry

Update - I took my 3M piece down to the local windshield tinting shop and had a professional apply the film to the fender. He only charged $20 and I am sure that it looks better than if I had attempted it. It doesn't look very good today, but he said that after it fully drys it will become more invisible. Right now I guess I can see the water/adhesive under the film, but I remember that went I had my windows tinted they didn't look good for a couple of days, and now they are clear as can be. So hopefully it will dry and become invisible otherwise I may be removing it. Hope not.
