Default cruising speed rpm

Hey Guys,

Went to my parents over the last couple days, cruised at about 75. Wondering what the rpms are at 75 on the train. Also do you think that speed hurts the bike cruising for about 100 miles?

Should be somewhere around 2300 rpms. My '96 inch softail custom runs at a little over 2K at 65mph. Running continuously at high speeds should not hurt your bike as long as it's broken in. It is however a better practice to vary your speeds.

At 75mph I am at about 3000rpm. I am running a 103 with heads, pistons, cams, and sert but that should not affect anything.
