Default Stupid ? - Rear brake pedal pad on Rocker and other Softails

I'm a dumbass with a stupid question regarding the 08 Softails that have the black rubber pad on the rear brake pedal. If you remove that pad, is there a hole in the lever for an aftermarket pad? I've got a HD aftermarket pad for Softails but the instructions talk about unbolting the existing pad which doesn't apply here. I hate to cut the rubber pad off and find I need a $150 lever to get the look I want.

Can some of you guys that have put on an aftermarket pedal pad clue this dumbass in please?

yeah there's a hole. at least on the 07's. try pressing your fingers behind the pad to feel around the plate to see if you can verify befpre cutting.

There is a hole my Rocker. I don't believe I cut the rubber pad off, I think I just pulled it off with some pliers.

Default Further question regarding Rocker brake pad...

Just got my Rocker C... what a bike! Only problem is the stock brake pad... it's so far left of the peg. With the stock lever, if I remove the rubber pad, is there a way to bolt a wider pedal to it or does it just take the small sized pedals?

Had the same feeling with my Rocker C. Removed the stock pad & since there is a hole in the lever I just bolted on a wider pad.
