Just got back from a 3,000 mile trip to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. The 10 day trip was great ... but... traveling across
northern Arizona and New Mexico last Thurs/friday we had
50 to 60 mph winds. Stopped twice after 125 miles stretches and each time got over 59 mpg.... normally would get 50/51 mpg.
Had to limit our speed to 70 mph since the wind was pushing us over sideways and had one pickup towing a u-haul fishtail off the road right next to our lead rider... God was looking down on us for that one..

Hell you are doing a lot better than my 40 to 42 mpg

 

I got 32mpg with 40mph headwind and 58mpg with a 30mph tailwind

 

+1 on the cool pic. I hope I get that kind of gas milage.............good luck to me......lol.....
