Default Gas gauge

I have an 05 Heritage that the gas gauge has quit working on.
When empty it reads full. Don't ask me how I know, I just know If I wiggle the bike the bike back and forth it will make it another 5 miles or so.
Has anybody else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

Thanks, RCC

Default RE: Gas gauge

I feel sorry for you fuel injected guys having to rely on the POS Harley fuel gauge.
Here's an old timertip = fill up the tank completely, ride about 180 miles, fill it back up.
Use the trip meter.
