2 Tire Questions
Don't ask me how, but I got only 7200 miles out of the stock tire on the FXSTC. I may have a few hundred more left, but that's about it. No, I'm not hard on my tires, don't do burnouts, etc. Most of my riding is highway, 1 up. Go figure [:@] The roads are pretty rough out here in deep south TX, and of course HOT!!!!! Ok, the questions:
1. Who has a longer-lasting tire in the 200mm? I should be getting much more than just over 7K.
2. Who online has the best price for the this tire?

RE: 2 Tire Questions
I got a tad over 9600 miles on my stock tires. The front had tread left, but signs of cupping.
I replaced both tires with HD replacement Dunlops. The stock tires did fine by me, so I didn't start looking into alternate brands.
I bought my set on eBay after doing a search for the Dunlop model#. Turns out that my indy could have matched those internet prices as well with his local supplier. Anybody will beat the stealership pricing.
My replacement set of tires ran $152 for the rear (DUNLOP D205 200/55R17 200/55-17 HARLEY FATBOY REAR TIRE) $124 for the front tire. (DUNLOP D205 140/75R17 HARLEY FATBOY FRONT TIRE)
The vendor was americanclassicmotors.
So, for $276 (including shipping) I got two new tires and my indy installed them during my 10k service interval.
