Default SERT Discontinued

I decided to go with the SERT over the PCIII. I started calling some HD Dealers (Strating with Chicago HD) and I have found out that the SERT has been discontinued. Nobody has them and the dealers cant get them anymore......

I guess I will have to go with the PCIII.......

The PCIII is cake, even better is the ThunderMax with auto tune...no dyno needed.

They said that HD is going to replace it with a better set up. It is called the Pro Super Tuner. But it is quite a bit mroe money than the SERT..... nearly double I was told. It requires different software too.

I was going to get the PCIII but I was told it is a pain to get it to fit under the seat of my fatboy. So I figured the SERT would be better. Anybody fir a PCIII under the seat of their 2008 fatboy?

The pro super tuner is going to be a usb intrerface, version with more bells a whistles and to be more advanced in tuning. I went with the SERT, which is the newer one, downloads onto the bike and done. you get a turner cartridge with the standard cable connection no more CD needed. Mine was 300.00.. the super tuner I believe is 500.00 and change.

The super tuner looks really cool, but it looks to have alot to offer if you are into personally into to tweeking and dialing in your bike which is great. Im personally not ready to F_ _ k around with that yet.

I dont want to mess with the super tuner either.... but I cant find anybody that has the SERT in stock and that will ship it to me.....

The new part number for the super tuner is 32109-08.... the cable is poart number 32184-08 and the instructional DVD is 32101-08.

Anybody know where I can still get a SERT for my 2008 Fatboy? I found a few left at some HD dealers buy nobody will ship to me.

Ihave the PCIII behind the splash guard. if i had the bucks i would go Thundermax and if i was going to keep changing pipes then i would go the Thundermax. i got my PCIII for 225 on ebay new and another 280 for the dyno tune. I believe the SERT that is the Screamin Eagle Race Tuner was labeled for off road just like the PCIII and the EPA is watching Harley.

Luckily money isnt an issue for me...... I just thought the Thundermax was an overkill for me. It is also something that could break... same as the PCIII. That is why I wanted the SERT. There are no add ons. As you already know it just uses the existing HD components. There is nothing to mount. It just sounded like the way to go.
