new beach bars on Fatboy
I installed new beach bars today. first I tried to slide the tank back and up to disconnect the plug. all I did was break the fuel line. Harley makes a much better replacement. everything after this went well until I got everything cleaned up and put back together I hit the high-beams and the horn honked. I had taken pictures of the plugs before I disassembled them, I had switched 2 wires.
The new bars feel much better than the stock bars.
Let me know what you think.

The kit came with a new braided brake line. The clutch and throttle cables stayed stock, until I can afford to change them out. So no, I did not have to replace the throttle or clutch cables.
The bars are a Harley kit I got off ebay for 150.00, it came with the beach bars 1 1/4"X36" inch, new risers andclamps, braided brake line, and zip ties. Drilled for internal wiring.
The fuel line kinda pissed me off, the parts guy said harley improved the replacement because the old one broke so easy. Seams to me it should of been free. It just broke no pressure, just lifted the tank a bit and snap.

I dont know, I would think most beach bars are shaped about the same depending on the width.
ORIGINAL: Sleeko Deluxe
Nice. Are these the ones that came standard on the Road King Custom and the Screamin Eagle Road King. I sat on one last week and they were very comfortable - felt a lot like my Deluxe. [&:]
