Default Got a Cross Bones. Couple of questions

Hi All,

Just got my new Cross Bones and loving it, mostly. Does anyone know if there is an after market solo seat available yet. The stock one is to small for my fat ***. Also, does anyone make a replacement front brake system for the springer front end that actually helps to stop the bike?

Thanks

there are a few guys that got the brawler seat for their bikes. they claim that really like it. as for the brakes.....Im not sure. I"m use to my old yamaha roadstar with dual brakes in the front...the stopping was awsome, but with the crossbones you just have to squeeze the brake handle a little more.

For the front brakes just google (duo or quad piston harley front brakes) and you will get a lot of results and different styles.

Here is mine with the Brawler seat. My front brakes were weak at first but got better as I used them.

search for "tractor seat" or "pogo seat" or "Police Seat" you may find something. personally i fit the seat very nicely. i would like to try the 2" springs though, it might just lower me a little. as for the brakes...i have had no trouble stopping

I'd like to have a nice 4 or 6 piston caliper up there as well.

Congrats on the new bike. Any seat that will fit a 07-08 Softail Custom will also fit the XBones.
