Default Rocker Rocks

I got the Rocker C today. The rain stayed away all morning so I was able to drive the 70 miles to collect it.

Now I know why they call them 'stealers'. I paid full whack (£14,500) for the Rocker C and asked for a pair of cheap (£30) gloves to be included, best they could do was £8 discount. That is absolutely appalling!

It looks awesome. Except the plate on the back. I can't imagine anywhere else in the world that one could live where the laws surrounding plate size could be worse. I'll post some pics, they will make you chuckle. So I have to sort that.

Bike looks really top notch, save a few small items that HAVE to be replaced. The foot controls look cheap, really cheap. The pillion peg mounts look worse than most japanese parts I've come across in the past. Horrid.

The ride home was tedious but when I got closer to home I was able to leave the motorway and take some back roads and that was much more fun. The slower speed allowed me to appreciate the torquey motor and great sound.

Next job is to get some Big Radius pipes and a standard Rocker seat.

Greetings,

I second that...My Rocker C is the best Harley I've owned yet! I can't believe how much smoother the Rockertail suspension is compared to the regular Softail suspension. I do recommend the drag bars though...Much more comfortable for me than the factory bars.

Thanks guys!

Here's some pics. Just look at the size of that plate! Need to find an answer that's not going to get me stopped by the police! I challenge anyone to post a pic of a Rocker with a LARGER plate!

Hi, Nickfear great machine mate, to make that number plate look smaller you needa black plastic framearound it, or even have a blue one made up that will help it look smaller.

Cheers and Congrats! What an awesome ride. don't feel too bad about the stealer, no one get's past that toll collector!

You were lucky to get a discount on the gloves..

Nonetheless dont let it spoil the joyous moment! There cant be too many Rockers in the UK so be prepared to attract alot of attention.

What the, is that a license plate or an air brake? What all info do you have to have on there? plate #, inspection, registration, SSN, address, blood type, next of kin? Can you cut it down, the borders or does the law state the plate has to be a specific size ?

Congrats, hope you like yours as much as I do mine.

The UK law is quite explicit on this matter. Plates have to be this size on the rear of any motorcycle!

All it carries is the actual registration number and a tiny tiny postcode at the bottom.
