Default Sudden problem, need help

I have a 2007 FXST. I went to start it, turned on the ignition and hit the Run switch, but the fuel didn't pump through, nor did the transmission light come on like normal. So I hit the start switch and I got nothing. I mean NUTHIN! I was on my way home from a long trip, so I had no time to troubleshoot. Does it sound like a fuse problem? And from what I could tell and see, no lines were loose or disconnected and I have a full tank of gas. Help me please, I am missing some awesome ride time. Thanks.

Check your battery cables and the grounds.

wouldn't hurt to start at the fuses, always check the easier stuff first.

Do you have the security system?
If so was the fob near?
Was the battery in to fob good?
Of course, battery charged, good connections, and no blown fuses?

After that it's beyond me.

Did your neutral light come on ? If so you have power and it sounds like the switch on the bars crapped out on ya which is why I never use that switch I leave it on all the time and just use the one on the dash the one on the bars is known to have problems when used alot

Sounds like handle bar switch to me too.

I have known some Friends bikes that stick sometimes. Try moving switch back and forth when the ignition is turned on. If fuel pump turns on it should start.

Been there done that, I didn't intentionaly turn it off, but went nuts for a few minutes looking for something a lot more complicated when it was just the switch in the off postion.

Citori,

I let a buddy of mine ride one of the old bikes, he did his norm and turned the kill switch off, I never do.....I go to ride a couple days later,,,no start. Spent about 30 minutes looking for the culprit, main fuse, plugs, points, and then looked up and there it is,,,Kill Switch.

Anyway, I've got an 07 Fatboy, so I would definately like to know what the culprit is. Please jmorris, let us know.
