Default Just lowered 08 custom

Just lowered my custom friday. I went with white bro. lower kit.Took me about 1 hour do install. You can rase or lower your bike without removing shocks again.I lowered mine about 1 and a half inches. Went one round more on the shock preload. My girlfriend and i went for a ride fri. night and no bottoming out. Love it.

No it wasent to bad. I did take the shocks to my local dealer to have the new studs installed, because you have to use a press to take off the retainer ring off to install new studs. I dont have a press. It coast me 35 bucks. All n all it was easy. Took about one hour.
Got the kit from j&p cycles. It can go about a half inch lower.

Good Luck D.J.

Did you notice any difference in handling? I would like to lower mine, but the last bike I did that to changed the cg just enough that cornering required much more counter steering making the ride tiring. I put it back to stock and problem solved. Just curious how this model responded.

Just keep an eye on the license plate frame hitting the tire if you change to a bigger one.

Nice looking bike mulch. It looks good with the black ones on it, cool.
