Default RE: Fuel Pack

I've got the fuel pak on my Heritage along with V&H BigShotLongs. K&N air cleaner. The fuel pak helped but the XiED finished the job, fixed the high heat problem. The 07, 08 bikes use a closed loop efi system. The fuel pak is desingned to increase your air/fuel mix when the bike is in open loop mode which is at about 50% to wide open throttle. The XiED increases the air/fuel mix in closed loop which is from idle to about 50% throttle. I use them both and have had great results, runs better, cooler, stronger, same mileage which is about 40mpg on average. Also no more pinging, engine knock, even on lower grade fuel. Some here have used just the XiED with good results.

The XiED is a simple plug in device that goes to the O2sensors on both exhaust pipes. They change the stock air/fuel mixture from an EPA approved 14.7/1 to an optimum air/fuel mix of 13.8/1. They took all of fifteen minutes to install and only cost $100. They only fit the 07 and 08 models. You can see them at nightrider.com. There are over 40 pages worth of info on the tech forum here under tuners. Pretty amazing device for such a reasonable price.
