Default Crankcase venting

I thought I might have posted this already, but don't see it. I have a 92 fatboy with an S&S super E and filter and the guy that put the filter and carb on blocked the vent holes with two normal bolts and oil blows out past the threads making a huge mess of my bike. A shop told me to just seal up the holes, but I am wondering how to properly vent through these holes with the S&S filter plate on and whether it is a good idea to just plug the holes up (probably not???).

Thanks!
