Default 2008 Fatboy Price

I am sure this has been asked, found dealer that will get me a 2008 Fatboy Sunglow Red for 18,600 out the door. Tax here is 7.0% so since I have never bought an HD thought I would ask if this is a decent deal considering the time of year. Not many dealers would budge.

Thanks

Assuming tax is on top of the $18,300, its a good price. The right price is list plus $500 - $700 for setup and delivery charges.

Anything at or below MSRP+ sales tax is a very good deal. So in this case, $17,540+sales tax or lower.

Do you like the bike and trust the dealer? If so go for it.
Once u sit down with the sales guy. See what he will throw in with the deal. Pipes, Stage 1 kit, tuner etc.
you might be pleasently surprized.

Get the 1000 mile service with synthetic thrown in. They will do that. Also they should give you another 500 to 1000 in accessories. I had them reduce the prep to 400 and throw in windshield and 1000 miles and 500 below msrp.

My 2006 Fatboy was $18,600 out the door. I did get the 1000 mile service for free and 50% off the 2,500 mile service. Bike also had custom paint (Dragonfly Green). Don't forget to ask for the free t-shirt

I bought my bike MSRP +tax with no freight or setup etc. Seemed like they would sell me any bike for that sinceI looked at a handful and that was the story for all of them.

Harley is down this year (like everyone else in the country), so i'd say this is the time to get a great deal. It wasnt like this 2 years ago for sure. I looked.

Found another dealer that will 18,400 out the door, tried to get them to 18000 even. Maybe I can get them to throw in a free windshield if I pay for the V&H exhaust.

i'm in the market since my crash. i have to wait another 4-6 weeks. what i have been told is the closer we get to the dealer show the better off we(buyer's) are. i would hope to get one below msrp. as others have said get them to throw in some goodies. i got $500 in store credit on my last one. good luck let us know when you get one...

Okay well got the deal done, out the door for 18,400 and got a windshield at dealer cost, I also bought the complete V&amp\\;H exhaust (long shot, staggered top cut) got a little bit of a discount on the pipes.&nbsp\\; I asked them to throw the windshield in for free but since he has to travel to get the bike he said his cost is the best he can do.&nbsp\\; I am happy with the&nbsp\\;deal, saved a little money.&nbsp\\; I think if I would have waited a few months I could have gotten a bit better but chose not to.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
The pipes sound sweet!&nbsp\\; Test road a deuce and they sounded perfect.
