Default anyone used the "Easy Brackets" rear turn signal relocation kit?

I'm looking to put a set of osprey saddle bags with quick detachable mounts on my 07 FXSTC and they told me I would need toget the relocation kit that moves the lights down to the license plate. The kit only costs $50.00 so that's not the issue, I'm just wondering if the look OK and if any of you guys have them and what your thoughts are about them. I'm planning on riding out to Sturgis this August from VA (3400 miles round trip) and I'm going to need as much storage room as I can get. Thanks

I tried a set for Reaper, but they didn't fit quite right (the holes didn't line up with the holes on the license plate bracket), and I really didn't like the way they looked, so I picked up a used set of front signals, and using spacers, mounted them directly to the license plate bracket. It's a much cleaner look... almost looks factory! I'll post a couple of pics when I get home tonight.

Cheers!

Clammy...I really appreciate it. Here is a picture of the easy brackets and I'm just not sure they'll look good on my custom. http://greatbikegear.com/images/prod...x/TSDWG-lg.jpg

you're right...they look great! Why couldn't you use your stock rear turn signals...you said you picked up some used front signals. Also, what did you use as a spacer. Thanks for the pics and info. NICE JOB!

The rear signals need the stem, which would be to wide to fit on the license plate bracket, and I wanted to keep them in as close to the fender as possible so I could mount removable hard bags. I really don\\;t know what the spacers are, I got them given to me at my dealer. Any 1.25" or 1.5" spacers that match the diameter of the bolts should work. If you go this route, you'll see that the front signals have 3 wires coming out of them, while the rears only have 2. You'll need to tie the 2 hot leads together, and grind off 1 of the pins on the bulb. It sounds more complicated than it is. I reused the stock connectors, so once I wired it up, I just plugged them back in the normal spot behind the taillight.

If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up, and I'll do my best to answer them.

Cheers!
