Hey guys,

I got a 07 Deluxe and I am wanting to do a bunch of mods to it...but thought some of you could post pics here of what you have done to your bikes...or give me some pointers

Im looking at the Big Radius pipes from V&H....

Also I contacted JP Cycles asking them about installing an old school solo seat with springs....but they said I am going to have to fab something myself as there are no brackets that fit this bike.....IM wanting the smaller 9 1/2 by 11 1/2 seat....

All you Deluxers with Apes....I wanna see some pics......and any other mods you guys are proud of on your bikes....

Yes Im a Noob...but hopefully you wont hold that against me...

Sorry man. No offense meant, but you're kinda asking for the world here.

Take some time, look at the pictures as lionsqrne mentioned and if you find a bike that has some of the things you like, send the owner a PM through the website.

You can also use the search function for key items that your interested in learning about.

you might be able to find something at heartland usa. they have mods for Softails.

 

I understand completely where you are at with your bike, but as others have said, ask specific questions about specific setups and things of that nature. I researched and rode my bike stock for about 6 months before i could figure out which direction to go with it.

I figured it out and started spending quite a bit of coin, but it was all useful.... i wanted form and function for long trips so i searched for things like cruise arms, forward controls, comfy seats, nice pipes... just take your time and read.... ALOT.

 

I road mine for 9 months and researched this forum and others before I came up with a theme.

Look around,research,ask,listen.Lots of people rush out and buy the first thing they see,then change it a month later.I dont know how many exhausts and handlebars i have been through so it pays to do your homework.
