Default Traded Night Train for Deluxe.....Q's

Just traded my Night Train for an '08 Deluxe.
&nbsp\\;
Couple questions. Anyone run or have pics w/ a Deluxe w/ straight bars/drag bars?
&nbsp\\;
Floorboards.....can I remove them, or move them forward. A better position for me would be with my legs straight out more. Plus, I scrape the boards on nearly every other turn. My Night Train, I extended the controls, but Im not sure what can be done w/ the Deluxe.
&nbsp\\;
Bottoming out.... Im only 190.....why would it be "bottoming out"? It did it when I pulled in the driveway &amp\\; when I hit a few road bumps.
&nbsp\\;
Thanks for any input or advice.
.....and sorry for all the&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;&nbsp\\; which randomly appear

I've got about 25-30 lbs. on you and haven't bottomed my 07 Deluxe&nbsp\\;out.&nbsp\\; I have dragged the floorboard once&nbsp\\;on some twisties going up the mountain.&nbsp\\; I would go back to the dealer or give them a call.&nbsp\\; I also installed a highway bar/engine guard and added the Kuryakyn Dually foot pegs.

The "bottoming out" your feel may be a loose stem bolt. The front end on my 07 would "clunk" when I rode over curbs into my driveway or pavers and small bumps. The stem bolt on the front fork may be loose, take off the chrome cap by unscrewing, and then put a socket wrench on the bolt and see how snug it is. It should be snug, not tight. ***This is not the way to set the front fork stem bolt torque, or adjust the bearings. **** You should only tighten with a little pressure, don't exert too much pressure or put your back into it or you will dent the bearing seats. If you tighten a little and notice the noise is much better or fixed, you should have the correct procedure done by the dealer.
