Default sturgis...whos' going, who's been...it's almost here

Me and a friend are looking to leave Virginia and do a 2 week 3400 mile trip to Sturgis and back. We'll be camping, there and along the way...any advice would be appreciated.&nbsp\\;How many of the members are planning on doing the trip?&nbsp\\;

I went last year it was a great ride and I went from Arkansas and on the way back through Colorado and Rocky Mt national park.&nbsp\\; If you are camping then I would advise staying at the Buffalo Chip things get wild at night and they have great concerts.&nbsp\\; Just my two cents.&nbsp\\; If you are doing it you can go to the web site for the camp ground and find out the price and I believe reserve a spot.

Have you guys heard of Rush no-more or Elkview campground. I'm looking for something clean and relatively quite at night. Are any of you guys camping on the way to Sturgis?

I linked to it from my photobucket account.

You might check out the Lamphere Campground. It's relatively quieter than the buffalo chip is. Not dead silent.... but just not as rowdy.

Do you have to have a photobucket account or can you just link to the "pictures" in your computer. I'll check out Lamphere Campground...thanks. Are you camping on the way to Sturgis?

You cannot link to photo's directly on your computer. You can upload them into your post. But they are only good for that one post. Photo Bucket is free.... no biggie.

I am in Nebraska... we will make the trip in 8 to 9 hours or so. Arrive the same day we set out.

Elkview is cheap but not much shade or quite.
