Default Big City Thunder Baffles on Big Radius Pipes

I just got my Rocker back from the dealer after installing a stage 1 setup.&nbsp\\; They did not install the Big City Thunder Baffles 6 inches in from the tip of the Big Radius pipes as the directions indicate.&nbsp\\; Instead, they installed them using the stock baffle holes&nbsp\\;near the tips.&nbsp\\; Do you guys have any experience in the sound/performance differences in the two locations?&nbsp\\; Would you just bring it back and have them install them correctly?&nbsp\\; Thanks!

Same thing happened to me last week.&nbsp\\; I wasn't able to talk with the tech, just dropped off the baffles.&nbsp\\; Came back and they had been installed using the original mounting holes so they were just at the end of the pipes.&nbsp\\; I called Gail at Big City Thunder and she faxed me a copy of the instructions.&nbsp\\; I took them with me and talked with the tech, left him the instructions, and he moved them up the pipe.&nbsp\\; He wasn't real&nbsp\\;happy because he had to take the pipes off to drill new mounting holes but he did it.&nbsp\\; He is a great tech and still thinks that it wasn't necessary but he did what I asked him to do.&nbsp\\; I am picking up&nbsp\\;the bike Thursday.&nbsp\\; Don't know if I will be able to tell&nbsp\\;any difference in&nbsp\\;sound and I would not expect any big difference in performance.

If you read the instructions they say the further in you go the deeper the sound.

I would have the dealer install them per the instructions. You paid to have a job done correctly and it wasn't.

I had them installed in my Big Radius pipes as well. Way too loud...I was getting headaches and my neighbors were complaining...went back to stock baffles and cured both problems. Good luck with those baffles.
