Default Rear brake dragging

My rear brake is dragging slightly on the Fatty. Starts to squeal slightly until I tap the brake. It stops for a few and then starts up again.
Whats the deal? Help?

THanks MikeM

Yep, that is normal because they used a springer caliper on the rear (old stock). Mine had brake dust because of that and now that i went with pads that dont they squeak.

I'd guess the pads need to be removed and all the dust blown out of the calipers.

I just washed them down with brake cleaner. I will see how that works. They only have about 1200 miles on them.

Thanks MikeM

Apparently I have a brake dust thing going on. I cleaned the caliper and pads with brake cleaner today and it appears to have stopped squealing. A quick spray seems to have done wonders.
Now if I can figure out whats up with the rear brake light switch I will be all set.

The squeel is probably from the caliper hitting the back of the brake pad. When new pads are installed you need to grease the metal side of the pad that contacts the metal calipers. Then put a small film of grease on the two pins that hold the pads in place. That will stop the squeeks.
