i have&nbsp\\; a problem with my bike. everything ran ok, till last week. when i start the engine, it runs about 10 seconds at normal rpm, but then they are going down and the engine stalls. i dont know what is going on so i went to dealer and he ran the diagnostics. no fail codes. but the bike still does it. i am confused. it is the EFI model 2006 fatboy. also i ve noticed the fuel consumption has risen and it has overrich mixture.
i can only ride it, when i ride in higher and high rpm s. have anyone experienced this issue?

 

sounds like a bad throttle position sensor

let me get this right....the dealer did not find any trouble codes so they don't have enough brains to figure out there might be a problem without a trouble code.....

 

you ve got it. actualy yes, bad dealership, the only one in our country.
i let the bike at my friend, he is a mechanic, but he cant figure out what is going on with. i ve read some issues with stalling, someone said plug cables, fuel pressure, crankshaft sensor, heat sensor, i dont know what is right. the bike has also higher fuel consumption, maybe due to riding in higher rpm s. but after every start and also restart it dies after 10 - 15 seconds.
