I have just finished installing "Barnett"cables on my 05 carbed Fatboy. I cannot get the idler cable to return. I do not think the adjuster could take so much out.The throttle cable works great?

 

Read your manual, it gives pretty could instructions on how to adjust cables, if you tighten them to much they will not work properly
