Default Changing to beach bars

I'm thinking about changing my 06 heritage for the stock bars to beach or bikini bars with 4" risers. Anyone out there done this? do I need to change any brake lines or cables? If somebody has some pics of a softail with beach bars I'd like to see them.

I went with Wild 1 550s.&nbsp\\; I bought them from www.hdbikeparts.com&nbsp\\;with all the cables in ss.&nbsp\\; The factory wires were long enough if you gave them a gentle tug.&nbsp\\; Installation was not bad either.&nbsp\\; Took a couple of hours IIRC.

Sorry no pics yet.

Here is a fatboy with HD beach bars. they have the normal short 1 inch riser. I had to change the brake line. the wires and other cables were long enough. beach bars already come pretty far back. I don't know if I would go with 4 inch risers. if&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;you do, I think you would need to change the cables and brake line. I got a HD kit off ebay for 170 total with shipping for the kit. it included the 1 1/4 bars, risers, brake line (ss), and other things like zip ties and heat shrink. the bars are 1 1/4 predrilled for internal wiring.
I want to add one&nbsp\\;last thing. when&nbsp\\;start to move the tank to get to the connectors under it, first thing you do is release teh fuel line from the tank or else it will break really easy. the line cost 50 bucks. feel free to PM me if you want anymore more info.

I have the Burly Bikini Beach bars on mine. No cable change with standard risers.

I put Burly beach bars on my '06 Deluxe and they feel and look great.&nbsp\\; Only thing missing now is the true dual fishtails.&nbsp\\;
