Default Speedometer and Turn Signals Quit when applying the brakes

I have a 2005 Softail Deluxe and I noticed that when I apply either brake, the speedometer and odometer&nbsp\\;quit working. I also noticed the turn signals don't work either. When I release the brake,&nbsp\\; the speedo and signals come back. Wne the speedo quits, the security light comes on. Has anyone out there experienced this before?

Have you made any changes to any wiring on the bike? Look for broken, chaffed or shorted wire. Corroded connections? Do a thorough inspection. Even a bad ground connection.
