Default replace front end on '07 Night Train

I just bought a 2007 Night Train and want to start making it my own.

I'm considering replacing the entire front end with a front end from the new '08 Fat Bob.
Any body got any experience with this or know why it wouldn't work?
I do have access to some machining if nec. and or replacing bearings or whatever it takes.
One Harley mechanic told me the only problem he thought might be an issue is that the stem of the Fat Bob
front end might be too long or too short for the Night Train steering head.

Also considering putting inverted front shocks from a Buell or something on there, too.

Anybody got any opinions or ideas on these items?

Thanks,
dixter

Here's mine with a Storz Racing/Ceriani inverted cartridge fork, complete with dual discs. These front ends are pricey (I got the bike with it on), but the quality is awesome. My only complaint is the anodized finish- it's faded from black to sort of a brown/purple. You can find Storz at www.storzperf.com .

jbt, that bike looks great!
yea, the storz stuff is pricey but, i think... may be worth it.
looks like you have a pretty fat tire there too. i like it.

still wondering if a Buell front end would work... anybody?

thanks very much,
dixter
