Default Fatboys with apes

I already did a search and didn't find much. I want to put apes on my Fatboy, problem is the wife rides the fatboy too, sometimes. I don't want to go real high. I was thinking 12.5 wild ones. Anyone got any pics or suggestions. I would like to remove the turn signals up front also. Is this against the law? I think it would really clean it up removing them.

There are several icks on the wild one website. Did you search apes on here, there used to be an Ape wild post. I have 10" on mine and haven't put the blinkers back on. They were built into the mirros but i wanted smething new. I plan on putting them up below the mirrors harley minibulltes like the new bikes. As to the legal issues. If they had them when new i'm 99% sure they need to be on there. Myself i feel safer when people see my llights rather than just my arm. I've never been pulled over for no blinkers. Kent

You may have to check the laws in your state.&nbsp\\; In Virginia, they don't have to be installed.&nbsp\\; But if they are installed&nbsp\\;they have to work.&nbsp\\;

I have 14" on my fatty. I love them, way more comfortable than stock. I'm in the same boat as 92 fatty, I haven't put my blinkers back on either. Although I've been thinking of putting then on the forks. Sometimes I wish I woulda went higher on the bars.

I relocated my front turn signals to the forks too.

I got the 16" buffalo bars from Drag Specialties on mine, sitting on top of 1.75 risers. To each thier own though. you don't have to look far to find apes, but if you have a specific bar end width and pull back in mind, it makes it easier to get what you want.

Hey, I have 10" mini apes and they really made it more comfortable. All stock wiring, and cables. Would like to go a little higher but I helped a buddy put 15's on a Springer and we had to go new on everything as far as cables, wiring, and brake line. Cost more then I want to spend at the time. Does look real cool though! Thanks Mark

16" apes here and had to replace all the cables but it was well worth it as I have all steel braided stuff and it looks killer.&nbsp\\; MY signals have also been relocated to the forks.&nbsp\\; I wouldn't take off my front signals all together as I figure they are there for a reason and I want to give cars every opportunity to actually see what I am doing. &nbsp\\;
