I want to change out the stock bars on my 06 Fatboy to 1 1/4" Chubby 10" mini apes and wire them internally. I have read and want to confirm that the standard cables AND wiring harness will work.&nbsp\\;

 

I had to add wire to mine. 10' ran wires internally. Spliced the wires staggered so it would slide though the bars. I would need to check back to the length of the brake, throttle and clutch cables. I had to change everything. I would have to check on specfic lengths of each. I measured with a piece of string running from point a to b then measuring length. Kent

 

Although I did this on a Softail Standard.

I put the 8 inch mini apes from the wide glide using the wide glide risers (1" if I recall) on an 07 standard and was able to use the stock wiring and cables. But it was JUST right. I am not sure you can get by with it on a 10 inch ape. I could be wrong but I don't think it will work.

 

No way to do this without adding length to the wires and adding new cables - sorry -
