Default New Bars...

I'm switching from the stock drag bars to the Mini Apes that are now standard on Softail Customs.&nbsp\\; I'm wondering what it will cost me for all of the new cables...can anyone help me here?

Thanks

That will look good. Maybe paint them or powder coat them. Look on ebay for cables.

Good deal. Who did you get them from? Its not to hard. Use a service manual if you have one. Just do it one side at a time. Take it off then put it right on the other bars so you dont forget where and how it went. The switch housings can be tricky. there are some tiny screws and brackets in there that like to move. If you are internally wiring he bars and havent done it before I have a awesome trick that will have it done in 1 min per side.

I am using stock bars from a 2007 FXSTC.&nbsp\\; Is it possible to wire them internally?&nbsp\\; Also, does anyone know if the electrical wires will need to be lengthened?

Thanks

It can be done. Is there an opening at the bottom of the bars for wires? If not you will have to cut one and one on each side of the bars bye the switch housings. The wires should be long enough. Look under the tank the exsess is usually under there zip tied. If not you can get wire and solder it to the stock ones and recover them with the heat wrap.

Should look like this. These are wild one chubbys. You can cut them out with a dremel. Or just drill them out. Then smooth the holes with the dremel.
