RE: Softail Heritage - Show me your mods!
Its not been on the dyno yet, but based on where it was before the extra mods with the stage I and pipes, it has to be in the 100/100 range or very close. \\; Next step is port/polish the heads, touch up the compression just a bit, and I think that will make it as good as I'd ever want it. \\; Just didn't have time this time around for that step. \\; Dealer waved me off the SE heads I was going to put on it, said it would not like anything but going very fast  \\; Can you believe a dealer said don't spend another 500 bucks or so (just yet?) \\; Shocked.

i have an '08. this is a fantastic bike... depending on what you do with the stock windshields/bags/etc... you basically get 2 or 3 bikes in one... a touring bike, a city cruiser, a town hopper.... or whatever you want to call it.
they are great. just get a heat deflector for under the seat, a engine guard (best $200 i ever spent for saving the bike if/when you drop/crash it)...
also spend the few bucks to make your amber turn lights red running/turn lights... makes a huge difference at night and its cheap to have them do it)
