Fatboy seat
I have the 2008 anniversary edition and love the look of the seat but killing my tail bone. Tried the sundowner fatboy seat and the signature series seat in the catalog with a backrest, both of them move me forward a couple inches and both of them don't fit well, there was a 1-2 inch gap between the end of the seat and the fuel tank. I am 6"3" so moving forward not good, but I sure need something to cruise on. Any suggestions? I had \\; a mustang seat on a previous metric bike and loved that one. Thanks for the help.

RE: Fatboy seat
I'm also 6' 3" and have been keeping my eyes on the Softail/Fatboy seat threads here on the forum over the last few weeks.
These models have all been mentioned:
C & C Fastback
HD Badlander
HD Signature (w/backrest)
HD Brawler
Mustang Vintage
Corbin (various)
And then there are Gelpacks to add on: eg: Comfort Max
Or have your stock "custom re-shaped" by Mean City
And here's a pretty good thread on the topic: Seats
So a lot of choices out there, but I couldn't tell you which is the 'best' one. If you find out, let me know.

RE: Fatboy seat
I got the stock seat from an '07 soft tail standard, and had Mean City Cycles work their magic on it. they moved me back about 2", and down about 2" (from the stock Fat Boy seat). I also sprung for the 2" memory foam. Best $100 I've spent on her so far!!! I also installed the floorboard extentions, touring floorboards and extended brake and shifter levers. plenty of room now!
