removing baffles from stock 08 heritage pipes

can the baffles be removed from stock 08 heritage pipes and if so, how?
also... does that affect the fuel injection and will the bike need to be tuned now that the air flow is different? (08 is fuel injected)

I understand it can be done with some fancy drilling and grinding but I also understand the results are less than satisfactory.&nbsp\\; If you do not change your intake you don't need to re-map.
