Default Damn oil filter

I was trying to change oil this morning, the filter is a bitch, none of my filter wrenches works, I finally ordered one with a nylon strap, it came out. Pain in the S [:@]

Here's the answer.&nbsp\\; Next time you change oil, take your new filter to the Car Quest, or NAPA, or whatever parts place.&nbsp\\; Tell them you want an end cap filter remover to fit that filter with a 3/8" drive.&nbsp\\; They'll have it.&nbsp\\; They're about $4.&nbsp\\; Then just use a 3/8" rachet with a 6-8 inch extension, and it's a snap.&nbsp\\; Problem solved.&nbsp\\; The strap thing is a PITA.&nbsp\\; CCRyder

I use the one that fits the AC Delco PF 47 filter on my car.
Works just fine.

if you get a oil filter from K&amp\\;N it has a bolt welded to the end so you can just use a wrench...it looks like this

Cool! PF 47 is GM small filter they have used for years, thanks for the tips! I do have a set of KD filter wrenches but the side wall is too big, won't fit between the filter and the engine crankcase.

Yes. Just buy the K&amp\\;N filter and dont bother with the Harley junk.
