Default are brake pads the same?

I purchased replasement brake pads from an indy shop for 20.00 bucks a set. The brake pad pins align great but the pads are smaller in size by about 1/4 inch. should i go ahead and install them or get different ones. I already tried getting harley pads but they where also a bit too small.&nbsp\\; wut do u guys think?

Default RE: are brake pads the same?

my 07 has 2 different pads because they used a springer caliper on the rear and a newer Softail on the front. i can look up what the correct pads are if you post the year and model.
