Default Saddle Bag Hardware Question

The used bike I bought came with throw over bags and the hardware for them to hold the bags away from the frame and brakes. I like to ride without the bags - is their a way to make those hardware pieces removable other than having to unbolt them. Or make my throw overs quick detach?&nbsp\\; Looked in catalog, couldnt find anything useful. Dont want to spend money on quick detach bags, already have bags.

I'm looking to do the same thing but have been unable to find anything. Since the attachment points are kinda structural it makes it difficult. Good luck.

Curious what others do - do you leave your hardware on when you remove the saddle bags or take the time to unbolt them.&nbsp\\;

I had a set of throw overs that had a fairly hard back to them. I bought a set of ez-brackets and just cut the bags from the throwover part and bolted the ez brackets to them. Worked out really well. This was on a Softail Standard I had. I hated those support brackets and never wanted them on.

That's what I did anyway.
