I have 18000+ miles on my 07 Springer Classic and it still Clatters like a case full of marbles ? When will it...........

Mine had the 5th gear clatter bad but no whine, when I did my 1000 mile service part of the trans case came out with the drain plug. After the local dealer replaced the trans case under warranty, the clatter in 5th gear went away. and the trans overal seems quieter. I'm not sure if HD made any changes in the cases or if there may be something in the assembly proceedure that caused the change. So far since the replacement I have put almost 2000 more miles on the bike with no change in sound.
