Default 07 fatboy exhaust?

got about 1000 miles ,and notice the pipes are turning blue,is this normal?

Stock pipe? Aftermarket pipe? Do you mean the pipes turn blue or the heat shields? Stock air cleaner? It could be an A/F ratio issue.

stock everything,the piped not the covers,mainly by the heads

I do get blue right at the header pipes, I don't too worry. I also heard the 07 with the O2 sensors runs a bit lean, it could be running a bit hot. You got to know how hot it is right there, little is normal.

very common, I would guess if you removed those shields you would see the entire pipe blue. completely normal. changing those stock pipes to aftermarket pipes and new a/f plus some type of race tuner will take care of that heat issue

you need a fuel management even with stock due to what the EPA did to the Afr
