Default Detachable backrest

Has anyone seen or use the quick detachable sissy bar for a heritage? I was curious how it works and if it is sturdy, strong. I like the look of a solo but want to be able to change back fairly easy.
Thanks
Tim

I have the HD detachable sissy bar on my Fatboy, similar to Heritage, it works great, very strong, it can be removed in a few seconds.

i have the detacchable backrest, i also have the detachable tour-pak ( with the tour pak i have two different mounts, one is for one up riding , and one for two up, the one up rack makes a nice backrest for me while driving) they are both very easy to install and remove, when using the one up tour pak i have to unbolt the passenger seat, but other than that it is a snap.

I have detachable everything. You need the fender strut hardware to make it all possible. I can go stripped to full dress or visa versa in a few minutes including bags, windshield, seat and backrest. It all fits very solid. Never had any problems. They even sell locks for the detachable items (since they are so easily "detached").

The detachable sissy bar is great and I have never had any problems with it, but the locks suck. The locks are awkward to use and are prone to breaking. The locks are a good idea, but bad product.

Yeah, I have to relearn how to unlock it every single time.

I also use the harley detach. sissybar I love it the only time I ride with it on is when my daughter rides with me,takes about 5 seconds to remove or put back on . I was using bareback bag QD also but didnt like the way the two together put the bags so far away from the bike.

Yep, Harley sells one. I have one on my Springer with an attached luggage rack and it is very secure. It's in the catalogue.
