Default Help - Odometer Stays Illuminated

I have a 07 FLSTC and my odometer is staying illuminated all the time when the ignition switch is turned off, why is this happening? If I turn the ignition switch to on I get a "dIAG" message, and then when I push the tripometer but I get a different message. I even tried disconnecting the battery in hopes that the guage would reset itself to no avail. I didn't do anything to warrant this happening ... at least I don't think I did anyways. The user handbook says nothing about this. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I would suggest you take it to the dealer so they can plug it into their diagnostic equipment to find out why your diagnose light has come on. It's kind of like the check engine light on a car. Might be nothing big but you don't want to hurt anything.

I read about that happening to someone else a while back. It was suggested that you push the button in on the left side of the speedometer. The one that lets you check the mileage without turning on the bike. Try pushing it in and out a few times it must be jammed.
