Default HD Centre Stand

Has anyone fitted the new HD centre stand? how difficult was it? How long did it take?

I'd like to fit one to my 07 Softail Custom

I wonder what the reason is that they don't put center stands on a Harley? It sure makes it a lot easier to, change a tire, fix a flat or do regular maintenance. I never had a problem putting my Venture,Royal up on the center stand. That was all I used, hardly ever used the side stand. All it takes is the proper technique. I use to show guys how to put their heavy bikes up on the center stand. They would try to muscle the bike up, then give up stating it was too much trouble or it couldn't be done.

I'm only finding one listed for the touring models. Where are you finding one listed for the FXSTC ?

I found the center stand in the 2009 accessories and parts catalog. I would love one, but a little too pricey for me. Try the above link.

Don't shoot the messenger. I was only replying to Spike 96's request. (Smiley face goes here.)

be a lot cheaper to get a lift, wouldn't it? then, when you're not using it - hang it on the wall and admire it.....
