Default Heritage seat with backrest

I'm not new to riding but I'm new to the Heritage! Had a 04 Wide Glide for the last five years and sold it this spring and missed it more then I thought so I bought a 04 Heritage Classic!
I find the Heritage much more enjoyable to ride and I'm overall very happy with it.

Not that the Wide Glide had one, but I'm thinking that a backrest on the seat would even add more comfort! I usually ride solo so the passenger seat is find or I would even be willing to take it off if it meant a better ride for me! I see a lot of Ultras and Street Glides with them, but very few if any Heritages,
I would like to hear from some folks that have added a seat with a backrest, any comments for or against the change and your general feeling on how you like it. Brand and model #, place of purchase and etc. and as many photos that you care to post!!!

Love mind! It's a Mustang Vintage Solo with backrest 15" pn#79278. I got it off ebay slightly used and saved a lot of dough. My wife seldom rides but if she does I still got my stock seat I pop on.

Ok, I don't have a backrest, but I just wanted to say that your color combo on that bike is so sharp. If that had been sitting side by side with my Crimson Red Sunglo, I would have had a tough choice. Beautiful bike, man.

I just bought a Mustang wide seat with adjustable backrest and wide pass seat.
I like it. A little steep in price but nice quality and comfort.

I found one on ebay that fit with the stock seat and it is really well made. The guy bends the metal to shape and then has it powder coated and then he attaches a pre-made pad. It looks very professional and was a perfect fit and cost tons less than buying a new seat and backrest combination. I bought a new mustang set up for the low rider, but I didn't want to spend another $700 just to get a back rest for the heritage. I think I paid $115 including shipping. Just go on ebay and do a search for it.
Good luck
