Wheel failure

Wheel failure
With all of the aftermarket wheels available, what insurance do you have if the wheel fails? Before I would buy or install anybody's wheels I think it would be prudent to ask what tests and or certification the wheels have undergone. In other words if you have a wreck due to a wheel failure who's responsible? And hopfuully it's not your survivor who's asking the question.

I think that its up to the consumer to do their "homework" prior to purchasing. I spent well over $3k for my Wheels, Pulley & Rotor, thus I wanted to make sure that the product I was payng for was of the highest quality. I also called HogPro at least 3x with numurous questions prior to my purchase; they were/are a "fountain" of knowledge when it comes to HD aftermarket wheels.

All wheels rerardless of manufacturer are required to meet a minimum standard set by the Federal DOT. That being said it does not mean you shouldn't check out the different makers because some wheels really are unquestionably better than others.
Just remember that cost isn't always an accurate gauge of quality, it sure is a good indicator.
