Default Rider Down

A good friend of mine was in a motorcycle accident while riding to Sturgis last week. He had just purchased a new Rocker C for the trip and is an experienced rider. Evidently his jacket he was carrying came loose and got wedged in the rear wheel causing him to loose control. He was not wearing his helmet and suffered a head injury bad enough to require surgery. He is still in the hospital as a result. At this point it is not clear the extent of the dammage from the injury, and only time will tell. All I can hope for is a full recovery at this point.

Your thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your friend ... i hope that he makes a full recovery. At the least i hope that somehow something positive can come of what now seems like a very bad situation. That is the challenge.

Best wishes for your bud, and thx for the warning on jackets long enough to get caught . Something the average rider might not think about.

My Harley Davidson made vest unclipped at high speed recently and scared the living daylights out of me. Be carefull what you put in your pockets which may make wind gusts more dangerous.

Hope you mate recovers soon.
